Option 1: If the district requires a background check through IdentoGO:

- Open the IdentoGO attachment that came with your offer email
- Click the URL on the IdentoGO form
- Enter the “Service Code” that is listed on the IdentoGO form
- Select “Schedule or Manage Appointment”
- Input your personal information on the first page
- Under District ORI, input the Agency Number listed on the IdentoGo form
- Complete the rest of the pages with your personal information
- Once the appointment is set, please let your HeyTutor contact or Tutor Support know your scheduled date for the background check.
Option 2: If the district requires a background check through Live Scan *CA Residents ONLY*:

- Locate the Live Scan form that was attached to your offer email
- Fill out the “Applicant Information” on the Live Scan form
- Locate a Live Scan office near you that will conduct a DOJ and FBI level background check *Note: If you are unsure if the Live Scan office isn’t DOJ and FBI approved, confirm before scheduling the appointment. This is essential to receiving clearance from the district*
- If you need assistance locating a Live Scan office, please refer to this link and select your county
- Schedule a time with the Live Scan office to conduct the background check
- Once the appointment is set, please let your HeyTutor contact or Tutor Support know your scheduled date for the background check.
- Bring the filled out Live Scan form to to their office to complete the background check
